Can't see picture !!!!!!!

When I go on an internet site and go to view a picture or
a graph I get a box with a red cross in the top left hand
corner. Why is this? How can I get the picture or graph
to show? Is it a setting somewhere? Please help me with
this.

Using I.E.?
First thing, click TOOLS menu|FOLDER OPTIONS|ADVANCED tab.

Scroll down to the Multimedia branch, and verify that the appropriate
image categories have a checkmark in the box.
