XP login for users doesn't show the numbers when I type them in. The numbers
are there and it allows me to log in. Once I login, I am having trouble
seeing things. Some windows that open up hardly show anything. I saw these
2 items in my history and didn't know what they
were:(mcp://c:\windows\temp\mcu4.tmp\vsoins.ui::default.htm) and
(mcp://c:\windows\temp\mcu4.tmp\vsoins.ui::install.htm). Any thoughts?

Really, I need more info, but I can try with what you gave. On th
start up, make sure you have numlock on or numberpad keys don't typ
numbers. Please elaborate on what windows you are viewing that don'
show everything

Just better clarrify, when you type a password in its masked behind
asterisks ***** vsoins is a virus. you need to download a virus
scanner, update it then scan your pc, i recommend avast! also check for
spyware.

The asterisks are not there, just the cursor which moves as you put in the
numbers. I did run my virus software and it did not find anything. When I
try to download something, the ie windows that come up are mostly blank,
showing only some of the content. I am not able to see the instructions or
buttons to download. Any other ideas on how to find the virus/spyware?

it may be that your video drivers have gotten corrupted, reinstall them.

yeah vid drivers could be the issue or also you may be using the wrong
character encoding, go into control panel, regional settings and make
sure its set to whatever country your in.
