The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was '(e-mail address removed)'. Subject 'School's
e-mail addresses', Account: 'pop3.zsd.co.za', Server: 'smtp-za.zsd.co.za',
Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '551 5.1.2 <[email protected]>: Recipient
address rejected: Domain not found', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error:
551, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

This message doesn't show in my outbox. How to retrieve it to delete it?

Hi Gary,
Spot on, never knew there was a 'current view'. Solves the problem.

Thanks
Peter

I agree with the error message. There is no domain named pwc.gov.za.
Are you continuing to get that error every time you try to send?
If so, that message must still be in the Outbox. Open the Outbox and make
sure your 'current view' for that folder is "Show All Messages".

You're very welcome.
Every mail folder has its own 'current view' setting, which is
remembered when you close the program.
