Can't see footer in print preview

I have an innocuous query, it isn't causing any sort of problem. I have
created a template. When I see it in the Print Preview, I cannot see
the footers for any of the pages.

Though I would like to tell you that when printed, the footers show up.
Also if it would help, I have chosen the option for Different Odd and
Even headers and footers for all sections. To ensure that the usual
headers and footers do not show up on the first page, since my headers
and footers have a margin above them, I made sure to use Body Text
style for the text areas of the headers and footers, instead of the
Header and Footer styles.

Hello-

Pardon the elementary question, but are you not seeing the header & footer
in _Print Preview_ or Print Layout View?

If you actually mean Print Layout View, you have accidently 'hidden' the
whitespace. Hover your pointer on the top or bottom edge of a page & click
when you see the 'Show Whitespace' tipbox or got to Tools>Options--View & put
a check in the box for the same purpose.

If you are actually not seeing h/f in Print Preview but they still print
correctly there is something else amiss.

It's the Print Preview that poses the problem, not the Print Layout
View.
