I have a database that me and one other person use. We are not at the same
location so in order to share with me the information she has added, she zips
and e-mails the database to me. I have found that I am able to select
window---Unhide, to veiw the data base window, even if I make sure I open it
exclusivley. It acts as if it has unhidden it, because I can not select the
unhide option again and opens an extra that window where the database objects
window, should appear. Please, please help me. I'm completely losts.

Thank you

if you are using the .mdb and most of the time .mde file and the database
window is hidden on start up then hold down the shift as your opening the
database. This should stop your autoexec macro from running and hiding your
database window.

I can't quite make sense of everything you have said, but as I
understand it you mean that you can't see the database window, even if
you unhide it. It occurs to me that the window may be positioned
outside of your Access application window, but if that's the case I'd
expect your Access window to have a scroll bar that you could use to
bring the database window into view. Is there no scroll bar on the
Access application window?
