Hmm no are you sure the image is advertised properly on your RIS server? How
did you create the image? RISPREP or .

Hi,

It was created by a tech who is pretty savy at riprep.

What the problem is that have a list of 18 images.
Here are the conditions:

1.) On the model HP530 with Hyperthreading disabled I see
all images in RIS menu.
2.) On the same model with Hyperthreading enable I see 11
images in menu.
3.) On Dell GX-150 I see 10 images in menu.

What I'm wondering now is if there are resource
limitations on the PCs that can only display a finite
amount of information from the RIS menu.

Thinking about trying to prune the Description and Help
fields in the OSCHOOSER section of each sif file image
and see if I can display more images.

There are limitations to the ammount of information that can be listed from
the RIS server, there are some KB articles that have some details about the
size limitations if you are intrested in looking them up. Otherwise, shorten
your descriptions and that should take care of it., the reccomended
conditions are to limit the images that are visible to the users by way of
setting file security on the image directorys.
