Can't save

I had a powerpoint presentation on a floppy. I opened it, edited it, and
saved it. But while i was trying to save, it took a really long time, and
then the paperclip guy said, "there was an error accessing
A:\presentation.ppt." so i tried saving it on the desktop but the same
message came up with "C:\Documents An... Desktop\presentation.ppt." I tried
saving it under a different file name but it still said error accessing
(address of file). Heeeeeeeelp!

Open a new presentation. Copy all of the slides from your presentation and
paste them into the new presentation. Save the new presentation. Hope that
works!

i should have done that before i redid the whole thing on my other computer
