Can't Save Posts in Xnews ??.01.30

When I use the test version of Xnews, I do not seem to be able to use the
``save as'' option, which will save a post as a separate text file. When
I use the last `stable' version of Xnews, the save as option works.

All I can do now is use the archive option, or cut and paste to save
a single article.

Anyone know if this is a bug in the test version, or if there is
a workaround. I am running on win95 (please no flames).

I'm using ??.01.30 under WinXP, and the the "save as" feature works for
me. What happens when you try to use it?

I'm using 06.12.01 which I _think_ is the latest (they've all been called
test for some time, my zip is dated 8th Decemer 04), in 98SE.

Works for me - thanks for pointing out yet another facility I didn't know
Xnews had!

A workaround might be to go to Xnews\data, and open the group with a mail
prog (eudora works fine, I don't know what progs use the .mbx format)

No bug. Works the same way as in ver's 06.whatever, 05.whatever.
You don't say which "save as" does not work -- try either/both:
1. Menu: Article | Save As
2. Hit F6

If you still have prob's, ask for help at news.software.readers

They are the same. Another way to get there is to right-click the body
in the article viewer.

Hi,

Would happen to know what was the topic there -- I can't find it
("eyeballing"). BTW, me just curious, so don't waste much time
on it. ;)
