I have a fairly new installation of Windows XP and Outlook
2003. My e-mail has been working fine for a couple of
weeks. All of a sudden, I have lost my e-mail passwords.
When I reenter the passwords for my e-mail acccounts they
will not save. I have reinstalled Outlook, didn't help.
I looked at the knowledgebase and followed instructions on
editing the registry or password permissions, but that
doesn't help. Any other ideas? And, I do have Norton
2004 running, as well as, Zone Alarm. I've been having
these running so it shouldn't be any effect from them or
viruses or anything.

Thanks

I am having the same problem. It was working fine and now
it wont save my passwords and when I hit send/receive it
says I dont have permission to perform this operation.. I
dont get it. I also have XP professional with Outlook
2003. If you find the answer let me know.
.
You let me know as well. There is a microsoft knowledge
base article that explains how to correct the problem in
the registry. I tried editing the registry according to
the instructions, I tried exporting my personal folders
and uninstalling Outlook, reinstalling, importing my PST
and deleting my e-mail accounts, added them back in.
Nothing works.
