I get a message that I have disk problems and to run CHKDSK/F. How do I run
this? I tried going to "Run" in the start menu and keying in CHKDSK/F, but
that doesn't work.

Seems defrag won't work until I run this program.

Thanks,
Gloria

CHKDSK can be run from the recovery console. You can run the recovery console
by booting from the installation CD.

OK, I managed to get Chkdsk/f to run, but when it finished checking files
and indexes a full page appeared that begins something like "There is a
problem" and then the page disappears. I tried "scroll lock", "pause" and
"escape" keys but none of them stopped that page from disappearing in just a
second or two. How do I read the page to see what the problem is?

Thanks a million!
Gloria
