can't rotate paint pic

hey... um...ok
i drew some pictures in paint that i want to "free rotate" but the thing
is.... the free rotate button is greyed out
can you please help me?
PS. i have powerpoint 2003

Works fine here, Candy. You can rotate in Paint using the Picture menu.
And you can rotate in Powerpoint. Do not save your picture in Paint, you
will get the whole page as an extra. Select your picture using the select
tool. Copy it to the clipboard, paste special in PowerPoint.
The little green button will allow you to rotate at will.
