Can't remove in 'Add or Remove Programs'

Hello folks,
I've got 2 questions about 'Add or Remove Programs'
(1) 'Add or Remove Programs' isn't showing all of my installed programs,
this has just happened recently.
(2) The programs it does show, I'm having trouble removing.
When I highlight a program, I don't get the 'Change or Remove' icons at the
right hand side of the window.
All I get is 'Size/Used/Last Used On' icons.
How can I get 'Add or Remove Programs' to work correctly?

Hi,

This has to do with third party software. I worked this issue over a year
ago. Try the edits here:

Add or Remove Edits: Lines 188, 193, 226, 146, 208 and 336 (right hand
side) and 323:
