Can't remove all components from previous installation

Dear,
I format my disk from DOS prompt and intall new XP SP2. When i log on
window at the first time I find out some file I have deleted in previous XP
till in the recycle bin.
Please help me as soon as possible. Thanks

Thats because you did'nt format/partition correctly.
The winxp cd is bootable and can partition/format your HD

I formated partition from winxp cd but doesn't fix my problem.

go to www.cbltech.ca to get their free drive cleaner. It cleans the hd
completely. Then partition and format from your xp cd.

But did you delete the partition first, or simply format?

Firstly i formated by Partition Magic and then by Win Xp sp2 CD.

Why use PM?
Boot from winxp cd
Delete partition(s)
Create partition(s)
Format and install
