Hi,
Last night I wiped my partition of Win98SE and installed
XP. Everything was going fine until I installed SP2. Upon
rebooting the system hangs. It tried ALL the options
(safe modes, etc.) and NONE worked. On the safe modes I
saw that it got stuck on loading "agp400.sys".
a) I booted from the cd and disable agp400.sys
b) I was now able to boot up but the display was at
640x480 (and unchangeable)
c) I re-enabled agp400.sys and everything hung up again..
(doesn't boot)
d) I formatted (quick) and tried to reinstall.
e) The install process now hangs and the onscreen
graphics get corrupted.
Any help would be much appreciated!
