Hello there

I have a notebook setup for a friend.
eMail and internet-connection have been working well in
ethernet-environment.
Friend is connecting through analog modem and can send but not receive
emails.
All internet-services are working well but receiving email.

Error-messages from outlook-express tell of problems with authentification
but this is definitively NOT the problem (have own mail-server out there;
tried a lot of alternative email-isp's and -clients).

It might be some kind of protocoll-filter for a modem-connection but i'm not
experienced enough in windows xp.

What can i do to make pop work?

Many thanks for any help

Eric
