Are you typing the *entire* URL, such as
http://www.mysite.com/
Can you open the remote site directly in FrontPage?
For example, if you choose Open Web from the File menu,
then type
http://www.mysite.com/, then finally click
Open, what happens?

I am trying to publish my web for the first time from fp
2000, and when I do the publish web command and type in
my web address (with and without
www.) an error message
stating that "An error occured accessing your FrontPage
web files. Authors-if authoring against a web server,
please contact the web...". I have tried reinstalling
the fp extenstions several times, and that has not helped
at all. I always get the same error message. Please
help!
