I'm having a lot of problems trying to burn a data cd. I want to be able to
copy data to a cd, and still be able to move the data around on the cd,
delete it etc. In other words - I want to be able to treat it as another
hard drive.

On my previous pc, I used the Roxio program and everything worked just fine,
but now I am using Win XP and I've read that the Roxio program isn't
compatible with XP. Is there another software program that will allow me to
do what I want to do?

My pc came with Roxio's EasyCD Crearor ver 5 and DirectCD preinstalled,
worked O.K. I'm now using ver 6 which came with my dvd burner. I Don't know
where you read Roxio isn't compatable with XP but I assure you it is.

I bought Roxio Media Creator version 7 to slipstream Windows XP SP2 but it
failed. In fact the functions I wanted are no longer supported by them. See
link here:

I hav now bought Nero version 6 from Amazon UK and it works fine.

For your purpose, the technical term is UDF file format and this is supported by
Nero version 6.

Hope this helps.
