Cant print

Newly installed Windows XP, setup Epson 560 printer,
downloaded print drivers from Epson WEBsite and still
cannot print any text documents...
When we print a test page, the printer goes through the
motions and we get a blank page. Both cartridges are new.
Do we need a new printer?

Have you checked to make sure (A) that the Epson is
selected as the default printer and (B)that your printer
is working online (control panel, printers and faxes,
right click on epson icon, you'll get a drop down that
tells you if you're on- or off-line).
