Can't print with a printer connected to another XP machine.

We bought a new laptop with XP on it. It can add a printer through the "Add Printer" wizard, which connects to another XP machine (desktop). But each print job from the new machine failed with status "Error-Printing"

The desktop was bought a few months ago. All other network tasks can be done properly

Any advice? I appreciate.
