cant play rented DVD's

I have an Artec DVD Rom, when I originally installed it my
pc had Windows 2000 and it was able to play any DVD I
rented or purchased. Now that my pc has been upgraded to
XP it will not play rented DVD's. It will play any of my
own DVD's but I rented a movie the other night and it does
not play. PowerDVD locks up and stops responding. Anyone
have any suggestions?

Hi buddy, you just have to upgrade your dvd driver, thats all. Also make sure that your dvdrom is multi-region compatible
 
Hi there :)

Well I tried updating the drivers but I just didnt seem to
find any Windows XP drivers and all the sites I found said
that Windows XP should already have the drivers and it
plays DVD's just not ones that I rent at Blockbuster or
Hollywood Video.
