Can't ping to computers outside of my netork

I have a wireless network at home, and i can ping back and forth between the
two computers but it says request timed out when i try to ping a computer
outside of my home network. What is wrong, and how can i fix this, because i
am wanting to use remote desktop connection, but if i can't ping outside
computers, then obviously i can't connect to them. Thanks.
 
Can you yahoo.com? If not, posting the routing table here may help. To print the routing table, do route print.

What is the entity between your wireless LAN and the internet? Does one of
your PCs have a wired NIC to a WAN, or do you have an infrastructure using a
wireless router with a port to a WAN, or just an ad hoc link between
your PCs?
 
I have the internet directly connected to a wireless router, then the router
connects directly to my desktop to give the internet, then i have a notebook
pc that is connected to the internet wirelessly through the router. Thanks

I do, i ping it using its ip address, but it still wont reply back. Please
Help i need this. Thanks for replys
