I have been working this issue of being able to read my email using Outlook
2002. A couple of months ago I had upgraded my Norton Anti-Virus from 2002 to
2005 and deleted Yahoo spy-wear program. Since then, I am unable to read or
send email through my Outlook. I have tried re-loading IE6, but unable to and
I have re-loaded Windows XP SP2 along with XP Office and still no fix. When
using IE, I can point and click, but can not input information and can not
download anything due to a security setting that the error messages refer to.
I have check the security settings and still can not accomplish any task.

Has anyone experienced any similiar problems and if so, what is the fix to
this annoying problem.

First thing to try is uninstalling NAV to see if that changes anything.

Post the exact text of the error message.

Thanks Brian,

I have deleted NAV sveral times as well as loading a different version, and
yet no change. I feel that NAV had something to do with it, but can't figure
it out. I think that in the upgrade of the NAV a driver may have been
inadvertently deleted. When I conducted the deletion of NAV and Yahoo
spy-ware I utilized the Add or Remove program assistance found in the Control
Panel.

Have you used Outlook's Detect and repair on the Help menu?

Yes I have, though I don't believe I did during the time that the NAV was
deleted. Maybe I can give that a try.

Brian,

I deleted the NAV and initiated the Outlook's Detect and repair, this did
not work. I also request to repair initiation from the XP Professional office
disk, this did not work either.

Brian,

I have deleted the NAV off my PC and initiated the Outlook's Detect and
REpair, this did not work. I also initiated the repair option from my XO
Proffesional Office disk, this did not work either.

Do you have any other suggestions or ideas?
