I recently purchased a new Dell Inspiron 8600 laptop computer. I installed
the Small Business Edition 2003 which includes Powerpoint. Prior to the
purchase, I created a powerpoint presentation on my old desktop computer,
which ran an older version of Powerpoint (maybe 2000?). I opened my
presentation on a colleague's laptop, and on my home computer, without
problem (both with Small Business Edition 2003). On my lpatop I can open all
sorts of other old presentations. However, I can't open the newly created
presentation on my new laptop. Instead, I get the following message:
"Powerpoint can't open C:\POWERPOINT\(document name).ppt because part of the
file is missing". Any ideas?
