I cannot get into my Outlook. When I click on icon there is no response.
All other Windows programmes are working.
Open Task Manager and look at its Processes tab (you might also want to
change the update interval from normal to high speed during the test).
Click on the Image Name column to sort by process names. Scroll down
the list of processes until you get to where outlook.exe would appear in
the sorted list. Then try to load Outlook. Do you see outlook.exe
appear and then disappear? If so, you have an add-on that is crashing
and taking Outlook with it. When Outlook loads, it has to load all
enabled add-ons, too. If an add-on crashes or hangs on Outlook startup,
so does Outlook. When Outlook exits, it first has to unload all the
enabled add-ons. If an add-on crashes or hangs on exit, so does
Outlook.
Try running Outlook in its safe mode ("outlook.exe /safe"). This will
not load any add-ons that you installed into Outlook. See if Outlook
then loads (and displays its UI).
