Every time I close Outlook, the only way it will open again is if I restart
the computer.

Is there a solution for this?

Thank you.

See if it's running in task manager. If it is, force it closed using End
Task button and see if it starts. If it does, you need to figure out what is
keeping it open - http://www.slipstick.com/problems/close.htm

Go to the Task Manager, Processes, look for all instances of Outlook and End
Process for each one. This is an issue with all versions of Outlook. There is
a freeware application called Knockout that works good to clean close Outlook
and Word. Google search for it and follow downlad and install instructions.

Thank you for this, Diane. I found the slipstick site to be particularly
helpful.
