can't open microsoft outlook on vista machine

I loaded outlook express on my machine, newlaptop with vista and I can't open
it. Any suggestions?

Your subject line says "Outlook," but the quote above says "Outlook
Express." Despite the similarity of their names, these are two very
different programs. Which are you asking about?

Assuming that the quoted line above is correct, Outlook Express came
with Windows XP, but Vista instead comes with Windows Mail. Despite
the difference in their names, these are very similar, and Windows
Mail is simply the name for the new version of Outlook Express.
