can't open IE

when i double-click ie, it is no any action.and also i can't use "windows
update",because it upgrade through IE.but i am able to use MYIE,i really
don't know why.
who can help me ?thanks in advance!

Will Internet Explorer open if you double-click on IEXPLORE.EXE located
(probably) at C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE ? If you can
open IE that way, you may just have a damaged shortcut. You can right-click
IEXPLORE.EXE, drag it to the desktop and create a shortcut.

If IE won't open from IEXPLORE.EXE, the problem is probably being caused by
another program- usually malware.

Start by running BHODemon 2.0 from
http://www.definitivesolutions.com/bhodemon.htm The offender may simply be a
BHO.

Then you will want to run Ad-aware, Spybot and (if running WinXP) MS
Anti-Spyware (Beta.)
