Can't open IE more than once

I have a new computer running Windows XP and IE 6. Soon
after I installed all of the updates for IE 6, I could
only open up IE once. If I tried opening it again, I'd get
a "send error" report and it would close. I rebooted and
tried repairing Internet Explorer, but no love. Any ideas??

go to Start | Run and type

regsvr32 urlmon.dll

and see if that fixes the problem.

First eliminate any scumware.
