Can't open excel file with macros after installing Antispyware

Excel files with macros enabled will not open after
installing MS Antispyware. Shutting down Spyware app
resolved issue. Any way to modify Excel behavior so it
will run efficiently with Antispyware enabled?
 
What version of Office?
FWIW;
I run Off2k on both XP and w2kPro and have no problems with macro's in either Word or
Excel.
