Can't open email attachments

Since downloading the Windows XP update, I have been
unable to open a lot of the attachments that arrive in
my Outlook Express. Can anyone tell me what I have to do
to alter the level of security as I presume this is the
problem. Thanks.
 
Specifically, unmark "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened..." in
Kevin's path below.

In OE go to Tools | Options | Security and uncheck "Do not allow attachments
to be saved or opened that could
potentially be a virus".
