cant open downloaded file

hi,
a lot of times i cant open down loaded file in my
computer ,like excel and other document types, pls assist
me.

But sometimes you can???

If yes, then maybe the file got damaged during the download. I'd try
downloading a fresh copy.

If no, what kind of error messages do you get?
