I have a 100Gb qMemoryDrive that has about 50Gb free, however when I
try to move a 10Gb .avi file to it, it says there is not enough room!

I've tried ckdisk, defragging but everytime I try to drag that file
over to the drive it give me that message.

The File System for my c:/ drive is NTFS and the File System for the
external is FAT32, could this have anything to do with it?

Why does the extrernal drive think it doesn't have enough room?

TIA!

Yes. FAT32 has a limit of 4GB for a single file.

That's the standard message you get in this circumstance. Unfortunately the
message is misleading.

FAT32 has a file size limit of 4GB. If you want to store files
larger than that you'll have to convert your external drive to
NTFS.
