can't log on

I use OE on my XP thru my DSL line via mindspring. For
some reason, every other morning or so when I log on I can
surf the net, but I can't get OExp to log on. This is the
errmsg I get: Your server has unexpectedly terminated the
connection. Possible causes for this include server
problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Account: 'mail.earthlink.net',
Server: 'mail.mindspring.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110,
Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F.
Usually it allows me to use OE after a few hours. Any
idea how to prevent this? TIA
 
I see now that I'm in the wrong place. I'll try the
groups suggested by "Lanwench" in response to a query here
at 5:10 on 8/23. I'll check back here later to see if
someone was able to solve my problem in spite of the fact
that I'm in the wrong room.
