I'm an user of windows XP home edition. I've tried several times to install SP1a express, using windows update but there's always an error message saying that the program is incompatible with my windows. I don't understand because I have windows XP SP1. Can someone help me please. It's suppose to be a critical update for my system (according to windows update). Thanks

If you already have SP1 installed why are you trying to reinstall it? SP1
and SP1(a) are identical - the latter just doesn't have Java as Sun forced
MS to remove it.

If you already have SP1 installed, you do not need SP1a.
