Can't install Windows Embedded Studio...

This is a new one on me, but I can't install the Eval version of Windows
Embedded Studio on my machine, either from an older (pre-SP1) CD, or the
version I just downloaded from Microsoft. When I attempt to install the
Tools, I get and "Error 1720" popup, indicating that some required item
could not be installed.

Has anyone ever seen this before, or know how I can get the tools installed?

That did it, I was down-level. Argh. I knew something was missing on the
machine, just not what.
