Cant install windows 2000 advance server

I have a windows XP pro installed on a machine, am trying
now to install a windows 2000 advance server on the same
machine, how can do that without formatting the machine.

your advice helpfull

There is no downgrade path from Windows XP to Windows 2000 any
version of each.
A Clean Installation is required unless you install it on another
partition..
