I recently was hit by spyware, adware and viruses. After
a lengthy process, my computer is running. My problem is
that I can't load software. Symptoms are: I either
download software from a vender like HP for my printer or
I put a disc in for pocketpc and the insta??? window, you
know, the one that guides you through the installation
process, does not come up. Yet, when I go to turn my
computer off, I get as far as the turn off dialog box,
the insta??? pops up and starts the install but
immediately it gets cut off b/c the computer is shutting
down. Help....I have a Toshiba laptop and Toshiba won't
help b/c I upgraded from XP Home to XP Pro. I ahve e-
mailed microsoft but for some reason they are ignoring my
requests. What should I do?
