I had the NetGear WAG511 card running but the latest XP update seemed to
wipe
that out. I unistalled the card and tried to reinstall it. It doesn't show
up under device manager.
When I reinstall it, a new card appears in device manager after an alert
tells me that the device name is already
taken.
The card in device manager has a #2.

How do I reinstall my card?

Thanks in advance
Jim

To use any of the resources at the netgear site, we start with go to control
panel, network connections, wireless connections. This requires the card to
be in the machine and properly installed. At this point there is nothing in
the control panel about the card.

Everytime I insert the card I get the found new hardware alert and a new
number attached to the end of it. Currently we are at WAG511#4.

So my problem is not with NetGear card, but with windows XP .

How do I uninstall the unsuccessful NetGear installations 1-4. Nothing shows
up in the device manager.

Thanks
Jim
