Can't install error msg fffffdfd & setup files prob

Just bought new sealed OEM XP, bought used puter. Drives erased except for basic. Goes through set up and just before the "finalizing information" pops up fatal error "fffffdfd setup log should contain more files", when I try to reloaed (six times) it does the same thing. Sets up, takes about fifteen minutes doing so and then here comes the error message again. Even if I unplug the puter now, it just tells me to insert XP CD to complete set up. Won't even abort! WHat do I do now?
 
You'll need to contact the provider of the OEM software for support.
