Access 2000. I have a db with and "Account" table and an "Account Details"
table. (For subdatasheet) Linked by "AcccountID" I have tried to import
excel files exported from another identical database but with no luck. I
get the screen stating that Files were imported, but none actually were
imported. Iv'e tried this over and over again with no success. No
duplication of keys, just no imported files. Any help would be
appreciated...Randy

I assume you tried to import each one into a Table in Access. Is this
true? Did you get any error messages, such as to the effect that Access
encountered importing errors? At the beginning of the
Import-My-Table-From-Excel wizard, did the data that you were trying to
import look like what you expected? (As opposed to being all blank, for
example.)

Normally, if you select File --> Get External Data --> Import , Access
asks you more than just the file name. Recounting more details about
what you tried to do and what happened as you tried to do it would be
helpful.
