Okay, heres the thing
I was trying to share a folder from Computer A (Defcon) so Computer B (Queenie) could see it. One thing turned into another and I ended up making a workgroup. Thats not what I wanted, because now my computer cannot find the rest of the network and cannot find an internet connection. After doing some looking in here, I found out that you can't delete a workgroup, it just happens. I also found out that you can change your workgroup name, but not get rid of it. Well heres my problem, I don't want to be in a workgroup OR a domain. My brother has not created a domain server yet, so I'm not able to get to a domain yet. Is there a way I can get out of any workgroups I'm and not participate in a domain at the same time? When like that, I register a internet connection and a network connection

Thanks in advance,

Mike

By default your computer has to be in a workgroup if your
not in a domain, and there is nothing you can do about
it. Name your workgroup (workgroup) and make sure your IP
address and DNS is set to DHCP.
