Earlier today I mis-typed a URL and ended up at a porn page. It was just the
front page of the site and I didn't click on the "Enter" button, so this may
or may not be relevant. However, when I now open Internet Explorer and click
on Tools>Internet Options, I get a box pop up with the following message
"This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this
computer. Please contact your system administrator".

This is just a home computer and I am logged on as administrator but I've
made no changes. Any idea as to what's going on?

Running WinXP Pro SP1 and IE 6.

Are you running Spybot Search & Destroy? The Immunize page has
additional check boxes that lock out IE changes.

Thanks to both SSG and Jeffrey for taking time to reply. Jeffrey, you were
right - it was down to Spybot :o)

Cheers,
