Here I am back again today!!
I have 2 computers which I would like to network. On computer one I have a
broadband connect with a routher BT Voyager 205 ADSL which connect to my host
computer through a USB connection. I run the XP wizard on this computer and
all seemed to go well. I tried to get the 2nd computer to work but it has
gone badly wrong. At first it partially worked ie let me view the shared
files, but not connect to the internet. I fiddled and things are worse than
ever. I cannot get to the shared folders - it says that I do not have rights.
I can't print and I cannot get on the net. Can anybody tell me how I can
undo and start again please.
Thank you S

Sal,

How about you start by providing "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from each
computer, so we can diagnose the problem. Read this article, and linked
articles, and follow instructions precisely:

Sal,

Why is the DHCP Client not enabled on NEWTWO?

Let's see what happens when NEWTWO can get DHCP settings. Please include
"browstat status" logs next time too.

And you do know that it's customary to offer a large glass to the helpers here,
don't you... ;)
