I have a form connected to a SQL back end. On this form there are multiple
fields that I want formatted as percentages. Some of the fields are able to
be formatted as percentages and others cannot be and I don't know why. The
values coming from SQL server are all the same data type of decimal(38,3) and
all the settings on the different fields are the same. I have tried
formatting the output of the data in the query and it is displayed correctly
however you cannot edit the field and I need that ability. Its almost as if
Access 2003 doesn't recognize some fields as numbers because there are no
options available in the formatting dropdown. Anyone have any ideas why this
might be happening or how this can be fixed?
