cant find ntfs.sys

deleted partition on hard drive, re-established NTFS
partition, attempted install of XP Pro, looked good until
it got to this one point...sorry not exactly sure. Had
to reboot, and then get message cant find ntfs.sys try
using setup cd and choose R option. Problem is no R
option available.

Help!
