I have been having problems with my computerfor a while. I ordered a new hard
drive and it should be here by Monday. The problems I have had range from not
booting up, but sticking at the XP window; I semi resolved that, but it is
tricky; then outlook wouldnt open and the repair and detect program couldnt
open and on and on. Now, if I open explorer, I cannot see my dvd/cd drives. I
want to make a backup recovery drive for the new hard drive, but it says I
don't have a cd/svd drive in the machine. However, when I had problems
booting up, i would restart, hit 'esc', and then select F4; after F4, I would
be asked from which drive would I like to boot up, and it always shows the
two dvd drives are there
