Are you sure you typed correctly??
I have KB888308. Also, if you click on it. It opens up. Select link for
support information. Otherwise, I'd probably delete/remove/uninstall it. If
not valid hotfix.

Hello,
The hotfix does exist, the corresponding knowledgebase article was not
published however.
I am trying to locate someone to write and publish the article.
But yes that is a valid hotfix number.
Thanks,

Thanks for the heads-up to Control Panel...show updates.
Until now I had not used that feature. For hotfix KB888310
show-updates leads to "The Knowledge Base (KB) Article You
Requested Is Currently Not Available"

Thanks for the help.
--David

at least it shows up.
And according to Darrell it is valid.
All those hot Hotfix(1, etc) don't show there and who knows what they are.

Hello Dennis,
That I do not know. I am trying to track down the person responsible for
getting the article written and published so it gets done.
There isn't anything there right now for me to reference.
Thanks,
Darrell Gorter[MSFT]
