I just bought a 2nd-hand Dell Optiplex GX1 (PIII,
500MHz). The hard drive had been wiped, & only the Win95
Command.com file was on the C:\ drive. I Downloaded the
XP Pro Boot floppy set from M'soft and installed them on
the machine, and then loaded the MSDNAA WinXP CD provided
by my university. The Setup program said it couldn't find
the EULA, and then aborted.
The CD's directory has a folder named ENGLISH with
subfolders for Pro & Home, which in turn contain the
setup files for each version.
I tried installing the MS-DOS CDR extensions & drivers
(M'Soft v1.26) and running the setup file directly from
the CD, but got an error sayig it wouldn't run under DOS.
Now What?!

You should be able to boot from the Win XP CD, and choose to run the
Setup for Win XP from the bootable CD. You don't need to run the MS boot
floppy set. Try it the easy way, and see if it works.
