Can't figure out page set up in report

I created a report using the wizard. Once I selected the fields I wanted, it appeared in design view. The fields extended way beyond the amout that would fit on one page. I rearranged all my fields so that each category would fit going across the page in landscape view. When I look at my first page in print preview, it looks good but when I click to see the next page, there are several pages worth of blank space and grey lines before I hit my next page of data. I know that this is because once I moved over my fields to fit in the page, the grid was still there. For example, my data ifts within say, 10 grids but the amout of grid space showing in design view is about 21 columns. How do I delete these extra grids? I have tried right clicking but I do not get any option to delete and I have also tried to drag my mouse to move the grid in but nothing happens. Also, is there anyway to make sure that my pages don't stop and start in the middle of data? For example, I have a report that lists peoples names and their information below each name. I would prefer to not have someones name on one page and then their information half on the next page because of the page break. Thanks so much!

You probably have lines that extend beyound your fields, remove or resize
these until you are able to move the right page "border" in
to make sure to keep data togeteher open the sorting/grouping box (view menu
or toolbar button) - put in the field & Select keep together whole group

Hi,

To make the page smaller in design view and get rid of the blank pag
problem (wouldn't it be easier if you could tell the wizard only on
page!), scroll to the very edge of the grid and hold your mouse ove
it. The cursor should change to an arrow, click and drag it back t
move it to the position you want it in. This might take a bit o
experimenting, I've found that the margins don't always match A4 pag
size... trial and error. (maybe I'm doing something wrong too...).

As for the keeping records together, try right clicking on the littl
grey square next to the detail bar in the ruler (bit complicated bu
you'll know it when you see it). Then click "properties", and on th
format tab there's options like "keep together", "force new page". On
of those should do what you need (force new page - after section, keep
either grouped records on one page, or single if there's no grouping)

I hope this helps you ok,
