My HP all-in-one has software that allows you to save pictures/documents adn
then go back and print them in various sizes, make a memories disc, or email
them. Now, it says I can't email them anymore without setting up and email
address in "outlook". I have email set up in outlook express and internet
explorer already. I need to know a way to make one of them the default. I
don't want to have to set up something else. I am not very good on
computers....I am old, and I fear that I will end up having to use some email
program I don't want and have no clue how to change it. Can anyone please
help me?!? Thanks. Nana & the Girls (e-mail address removed) or (e-mail address removed)

I would suspect your HP software simply issues a call to MAPI to use
whatever is the currently defined default e-mail client. Did you check
in Internet Options -> Programs if Outlook Express is listed as the
default e-mail client? Do you even have Outlook installed (you imply
that you don't but maybe you installed it as part of the MS Office
suite)? Have you gone into OE and configured its option to enable them
to select OE as the default e-mail client?
